The family of Lähellä services has grown with a new member. Launched in November, LähelläPro brings together communication and events aimed at professionals, strengthening collaboration both among NGOs and between NGOs and the public sector. LähelläPro highlights the special expertise of NGOs and serves as a practical tool that helps NGOs and the public sector connect and enhance their cooperation.
- NGOs can use LähelläPro to announce events, trainings, and current topics intended for other NGOs.
- Public sector can share important information relevant to the NGOs, such as association grants and networking evenings.
You can browse LähelläPro announcements without logging in at www.lahellapro.fi.
How to publish an announcement on LähelläPro?
To publish an announcement, users need an account. LähelläPro uses the same login credentials as the Lähellä.fi service. LähelläPro is free of charge for users and is available in Finnish, Swedish, and English.
You can publish your announcements on either platform. When creating an announcement, you choose whether it will appear on Lähellä.fi or LähelläPro (see picture, the notice continues after the image).
Please note that thematic networks can also use LähelläPro for external communication. A thematic network is created as a new organization with the type “community,” and users from different organizations can be added under it as needed.
