Services for NGOs and citizens 

Citizen activity centre Kansalaistoiminnankeskus offers facilities especially in support of NGOs’ operations, such as:  

• meeting points 
• office rooms 
• pop-up workspaces  
• meeting space for short-term use  

• safe-keeping of small items in rental storage lockers 
• Art Gallery Unelma  

Meeting point Olkkari  

In the centre there is a low-threshold meeting point called Olkkari (“living room”) with a maximum capacity of 50 persons. Olkkari is a place where you can free of charge arrange activities open to everyone. In Olkkari you will also have the opportunity to meet like-minded people from other NGOs. The space is available for booking Monday through Friday 9 am – 4 pm.  

Office rooms 

Looking for an office room? Or a shared one, with the rent split between you and another association? At the moment, we have an office room to let at a monthly rent of EUR 719. The room and rent can be shared among multiple tenants. 

Pop-up workspaces  

Looking for a workspace in an open-plan office? On our centre’s fourth floor there are co-working spaces you can book for one day a week for just EUR 20 per month. After member discount, the price is only EUR 10 per month.  

Meeting space for short-term use 

Citizen activity centre maintains meeting rooms you can book during daytime, evenings and weekends between 9 am and 9 pm. Evenings from 4 pm and weekend days are self-service hours. You can collect the key from the second-floor lobby service point before your event.  

Regular hourly rate is EUR 20, and for members only EUR 6. The centre boasts unobstructed access and several induction loops. The person who booked a given space is responsible for its proper use. Please leave the premises in the shape and condition they were at the time you arrived. For further instructions on the use of the facilities, please contact the lobby service point.  

Safe-keeping of small items 

Looking for a place to store your NGO’s materials and small items, such as papers, brochures and office supplies? We let lockers for this purpose at a monthly rent of EUR 10, with our members paying just EUR 5 a month.
