The wellbeing and health-promoting services of non-governmental organizations, associations, and parishes are now made more accessible to the residents of the Western Uusimaa Wellbeing Services County. At the end of 2024, the wellbeing services county will launch a wellbeing and health-promoting website, which includes a wellbeing search service. With the wellbeing search, users can find events and services that support their wellbeing and health according to their needs.
The wellbeing search is a great opportunity for wellbeing promotion actors to gain more visibility and reach a wider audience for the services their organization offers. The sources of information for the wellbeing search are the Finnish Service Catalogue and the Lähellä.fi service, so your activities will appear in the wellbeing search when you enter them into either service.
The wellbeing website serves both residents and professionals
The Western Uusimaa Wellbeing Services County is building its wellbeing website for the use of customers as well as professionals from various organizations and partners. Professionals include those from the wellbeing services county, municipalities, organizations, or associations, and everyday guides.
The wellbeing search will be used in various ways, for example, to find wellbeing events and services to support or replace other treatments for customers. Customers are also guided to independently search for events to maintain their own wellbeing.
The content production for the wellbeing website will continue until the summer of 2025. The content of the site is being developed together with various partners and residents. The development work is funded by Finland’s Sustainable Growth Program.
