Some of the wellbeing services counties’ service platforms have been published and the rest are close to their release date. The platforms offer a diverse range of preventative health-promoting services as well as information to guide individuals to treatment. In addition to traditional care, different cultural, sports and nature-related activities provided by organizations are listed.
The wellbeing service platforms make services more easily accessible. The platforms are intended for all citizens as well as professionals providing service coordination. The EU funds the Uusimaa service platforms through the Sustainable Growth Programme for Finland.
Organizations are encouraged to add service descriptions and announce their activities in the sources of the service platforms. Information for the service platforms can be added through Lähellä.fi and/or the Suomi.fi Finnish Service Catalogue.
There are already about 600 organizations registered in Lähellä.fi in the Uusimaa region.
Status Report of Vantaa and Kerava Wellbeing Services County
Vantaa and Kerava Wellbeing Services County published the first version of their wellbeing platform in December 2024. The platform provides information on themes related to wellbeing and health, such as exercise, culture and self-care programs. The searc function of the wellbeing platform allows users to find services and events provided by organizations, municipalities and the wellbeing services county. The service is freely available to everyone at www.vakehyva.fi/HYTE without sign up. The platform will be further developed in the spring of 2025, and users can participate in the development by repsonding to the user survey available on the wellbeing platform by February 28, 2025.
The wellbeing platform’s search function utilizes existing information directly imported from the Finnish Service Catalogue (FSC) and/or Lähellä.fi. You can find information on the codes used to import data here. We encourage organizations in the Vantaa and Kerava region to add their service descriptions and events either in Lähellä.fi or FSC! This way organizations’ activities can be made more visible.
